Teaching and assessing students' use of GAI

Published on by Geri Anderson

This project will provide evidenced recommendations on how to teach students about Generative AI (GAI) and authentic ways of assessing their understanding and skills in GAI. This will enhance employability and career progression as students are better prepared to work with GAI with improved digital skills. It will also improve and enhance the learning experience of students: it will give students and academics confidence in their use of GAI and in the academic standards and integrity of new proposed assessment. It will also promote equality, diversity and inclusion through the development of teaching and assessment open to all students, including those who cannot afford paid subscriptions to GAI tools.

The project is focused on how to engage with generative AI in teaching, learning and assessment.
