Does peer interaction in online tutorials impact the student experience

Published on by Claire Wedley

To understand how contributions from and interactions with peers at psychology online tutorials impacts student experience and levels of engagement in online tutorials.   Specifically, according to students, how do the following impact upon their experiences and likelihood to engage:

  • The number of attendees and familiarity with peers
  • Unstructured contributions from peers
  • Structured interactions with peers
  • How the above vary by whether sessions are tutor group or cluster-based
  • What other peer related aspects do students see as important in their own engagement?
